Black Seth Thomas label on the base, manufacturers date stamped on the back. Walnut case is 15 1/2 inches, good simple style for an early shelf clock, with some beveling on the door. 8 day, gong strike. Correct nickel Seth Thomas pendulum. Dial looks old but probably repainted on the original pan many years ago. 4 bolts holding the movement to the backboard. An easy fix. Running. This model is not seen very often. I have probably had or seen 6 in 30 years of collecting City Series clocks. Not in the Ly-Seth Thomas or Ehrhardt catalogs, but is shown in some old books.
