This is a cute little novelty timepiece with a milkglass dial. It is amazing that this little timepiece survived as they were inexpensive and easily broken. The dial plate retains most of its gold paint decoration; the chapter ring is well worn. There is nice label on the back that describes this as the "Young America" model. The hands and pendulum are original, but wire to adjust pendulum is broken. A very small glue block on top of case is missing, but is easily restored. Uses a small round movement signed H. J. DAVIES. Height 7 inches
