C.1850, Howard and Davis, Boston, "Banjo No. 4", in good condition,
Anonymous (not verified)

except for changes noted. The bottom tablet is a replacement and the oval is not of the proper size (it is close). The lead weight should be cast iron with a "4" marking. The pendulum tie down is modern. The movement is original, and as occurs in this time period, is not marked with a die imprint. Otherwise this is a good clock with original paper on zinc dial in crisp condition, and with some of the nicest graining on the case we have seen in a long time. This clock will respond to some additional restoration by a knowledgeable Howard person. Height 32 inches
