The 8-day movement has lantern pinions, and is clean and running. The porcelain dial has Arabic numerals and is in excellent condition. The walnut case retains original finish with some scrapes commensurate with its age. The dial center is embossed with the Junghans star and a wreath. Hands are original. Strikes the hours and halves on a gong. The pendulum has an embossed center with a flying hour glass reminding us that "time flies". The finials are all original; the top center one has a broken dowel; tiny spindles are loose and would benefit from glue. Only one movement tie down screw is present, but it runs happily as is. Height 36 inches
