If you want to own only one brass and glass mantel clock, then this is the one. The front and side beveled glasses are each ground with an intricate design to accent the fancy ormolu scrolls and acanthus swags that adorn the case. With an Ellicott style compensating pendulum, and open escapement on the dial. The Gautier name and details are painted on the dial center and impressed into the rear plate of the movement. Sophisticated and beautiful. Height 20.5 inches
