The white alabaster case is in good condition with minor chip on the left corner, and assorted edge chips. The porcelain dial is perfect and the hands are original. The original seated cherub pendulum has been cleaned and regilded. A pleasant novelty clock in overall good condition, clean and running. Most of these are timepieces and it is nice to see a striking model. Movement has patent double escape wheel with chaff cutter escapement, Japy seal with 1840-44-55 award dates. Height 13.5 inches
