The best part of this clock is the movement, surmounted by a seconds beating balance wheel nearly 3 inches in diameter. Every item in the movement shows the fine attention to detail given by Liverpool clockmakers at that time. The 9 inch white dial has a seconds dial below 12 and a simple calendar above the 6. Finely cut side frets accent the sides, while the movement is shown off by glazing in the peaked "roof". Height 25 inches
