Edward F. Caldwell and Victor F. von Lossberg established this company in 1901 in New York City; examples of their bronzes, lighting fixtures and clocks are on display in the Smithsonian. Also refer to the Magazine Antiques, Feb 1998, for a full article on the work of this company. This has a well made gilt bronze case and porcelain dial, the movement by Chelsea of Boston; wind stem at 4 o'clock. This clock is like a jewel, small but high quality and attractive. The dial is approximately 5 inches in diameter to give you an idea. Total Height is 15.5 inches
