the two tiered case supported by 6 Egyptian style pillars. The garland surrounding the movement is supported by two winged mermaids with roses in their hand. There are a couple of repairs to the case, but no pieces missing and the gilding is quite bright. The well made silk thread, bell strike movement seems to be running OK. This clock would have had a dome when new, but will be fine in a showcase or display cupboard as well. Height 19 inches
