Walnut case is just over 17 inches high and well made with mitered cornersand full turned columns at the top. Both front doors are false but well enoughdone that I tried more than once to open them. The doorknobs, weights, pendulumbob, and false hinges are machined of solid brass. The bottom front decoration is brass. The headpiece is missing but would be easy to make.Being of unsound mind I felt I had found a treasure when I bought this piece.Upon closer examination I would guess it is still a treasure but this backwindmovement was added at some later date. The back is stamped, "Patented Nov.91920 and Dec. 1, 1920". The paper dial is inscribed "Westclox BabyBen".
