No doubt made by ST to compete with the poplar store regulators and shop clocks made by the other clock makers.They said in their ad, "Top can be taken off if a plainer case is preferred".The Office No. 6 with the etched top and base was a little fancier than theIngraham or Sessions comparable cases. ST priced their No. 6 to be competitivewith the other companyÕs store regulators. Today the ST No. 6 will sell fortwice as much as the competitions comparable clocks. They also made the sameclock with a simple calendar. This old oak case has the original crusty finish, case is 36" high. Movement is 8 day time only; 12" dial has a little flaking.Runs very strong, has a good label inside, original pendulum. Lacking onlythe brass dial ring to complete the clock.
