No name or numbers on the movement or porcelain dial. Heavy beveled glass over the dial. Some spider webs down at the bottom, not unsightly at all. Carrying handle on top and 2 ball feet on the base, case is 4.75" high. There is an original cutout design on the back lid, I would assume to let the alarm sound escape to wake everyone up. 8 day balance spring movement. Takes a two ended key to wind the running spring, alarm spring, turn the time hands and alarm hands, 4 arbors in all. Can be wound thru the cutout back without removing the back cover. The French made their little alarm clocks a heck of a lot nicer than the American companies.
