There is a band of metal ornaments around the case, near the top, and a big band of cast ornaments near the base, both of which has lost the gilt from the metal, leaving a copper base. Excellent gold filled etchings, French sash, beveled glass, one piece porcelain dial, all very good. 8 day movement strikeshalf hours on a gong. It will run, but is out of beat. The pendulum and backdoor are correct. The enameled iron case is almost perfect, stands12inches high, 15 inches wide. Unfortunately the clock is missing the end ornaments.Ly-Ansonia No. 975.
