French box clock with 8 day movement striking Westminster chimes on 8 long rods. The movement is signed by the French maker. Ca around 1930. Oakcase is 31 inches high, one ornate carving on top, and plain glass over thedial, but 6 beveled and leaded glasses at the bottom. The case is clean, actuallydoesnÕt look 70 years old inside. It was running for me as I made the photographbut most of these old clocks with 8 hammers and 8 rods, will need some finetuning to run correctly.
