As I have mentioned before V.P. means Visible Pendulum. This is by far the nicest of this model I have ever had, and I have had 2 dozen or more. I will go out on a limb and call it perfect, even considering it is 124 years old. Nickel accessories include dial rings, bell, and pendulum. This model, the New Orleans, and the Fashion No. 3 are the only models pictured in any catalog with the "star and fleur de lys" pendulum. Black label inside on the base of this 16 inch walnut case. 8 day movement, bell strike, and running. Ly-Seth Thomas No. 210.
