Typical Chelsea 8 day lever movement, rack and snail count, striking a standing gong on the half hours. Attractively designed case is made of a heavy composite material with several coats of paint on top of that. It is 13-1/2 inches wide and alittle over 11 inches high. Bowed beveled glass, brass dial and rings, andheavy brass back door. Brass dial is also signed "Chelsea". This is the secondunusual Chelsea clock in this auction that is not shown in any of the companyÕscatalogs.
