Strikes hours and half hours on a heavy iron standing gong. Silver dial is signed Chelsea, and by a jewelry store. Raised bronze numerals have a dot, that I assume is phosphorus, on the hour mark of the outer dial ring, and on the minute hand. Convex and beveled glass. The number "192" is stamped on the base. The case has not been cleaned. Ca 1911. Ly-American Clocks, Volume 2, No. 234.
