8 day, time only, pendulum movement is clean and running. The movement in the base ofthe case has a drive shaft that powers the fan holding the 8 dials. The fanturns one turn per hour advancing the time on all 8 subsidiary dials. The8 subsidiary dials are marked, "San Francisco. Paris, Greenwich, New York, Amsterdam, Petersburg, Peking, and Madrid". The metal case is 21 inches high.We see these old clock from time to time, but hardly ever see them complete.Usually some of the subsidiary dials are missing. The fan is turning properly, which is turning the hands. One of the 16 hands is missing. The case anddials are losing paint. The clock needs to be stripped and painted. The bottom dial is complete but deteriorating. Reference-Our catalog February 2000, No. 114, sold for $2055. Some paint should make this a $2000 clock.
