E. N. Welch hanging clock. A beautiful little clock that resembles some of their high price regulators. Movement is 8 day, time only, signed by "E.N.Welch, Forestville, Conn.". Movement is pictured in Ly-Welch No. 230. Clock is straight as an arrow. A previous owner improved it a little. The dial on this clock mounts to two round posts on each side of the movement. Papaw added a third post at the top of the dial. It doesnÕt attach to the backboard but acts as a stabilizer. Not a bad idea. The 34 inch high mahogany case is just superb. No doubt you Welch collectors know the clock but I canÕt identify it.
