French bronze statue clock. Superb casting with outstanding detail. Just noticing some of the things, like her delicate fingers with nails, earrings, bracelets, bouquet in her hand, just great detail work. The base is also awork of art, basket weave designs with flowers and intricate carved designs all over. The clock is 19 inches tall, 14-1/2 inches wide, which makes it plenty big for a mantle clock. The movement is French, 8 day, outside count wheel, bell strike, silk thread suspension, running. Looking closely to find things that are not just right, I see only two, no back door, and the numerals have been highlighted rather poorly. If you will have the numerals paintedcorrectly this would definitely be a keeper.
