The ebonized case is tight and appears to have been reebonized at some point inits existence. The headpiece is contemporary, but was definitely made forthis case by an expert cabinetmaker. The glass, if not original, is very oldand the wall stabilizers are in place and complete. The unsigned, 8 day singletrain movement, is wooden shelf mounted, and has a one piece Graham deadbeat escapement. There is one tiny hairline on the two-piece porcelain dialand the hands are original. We have had the clock running for over 30 daysand it hasnÕt missed a tick. It may have the shortest pendulum swing I haveever seen, but runs real strong. The pendulum stick, bob, adjuster, pulley, and weight, all appear original and in good condition. This clock is wayabove average for an older serpentine Vienna.
