The gold is original and intact. Excellent label inside, easily readable, shows this clock to be No.486. All the dials are original, including the terrestrial globe which is excellent. The large circular hour dial around the globe is original, as is the movement and case hardware. The movement is complete and original but will need service before running. The clock is 27" high and 13" at the base. The walnut case retains the old finish. 8 day, jeweled, balance wheel movement. The clock was designed and the movement developed by Theodore R. Timby.
