C.1865, Unknown, glass whisky flask, meant for military use, whether it was approved by the Dept of Defense, we will never know. The flask has a clock face that reads "Time to Take a Drink" The back of the flask has the letters "U.S." cast in the glass. The dial under the glass is very nice however the glass covering the dial has a spider crack (no pieces are missing). An unusual combination of horological interest and human need. Height 5 inches
