The only thing that keeps this from being excellent is a small dent in the right side of the mahogany case and a small bubble in the veneer. The movement has Becker's Gold Medal medallion trademark, and is serial number 2,889,741, which according to C. Terwilliger dates to 1914, while Kochmann, suggests 1928. I believe that Terwilliger is correct, as he has the numbers for each year beginning in 1900. We are always asked about this discrepancy, and I guess that's why there is more than one history book on any subject. This clock runs and chimes. Height 14.5 inches
