(Sidney Mellish and James H. Murdock) This is a large and interesting case for an OG, at 28.5" tall and a full 5 inches deep. Has a shallow OG, and the door is level with the front edge of the case. Label touts: "Superior Brass and Wood Clocks", and with an unusual engraving of a shingled dome plus eagles on columns and 2 folks weeping at the bottom. Although the hand painted tablet of a man and woman on horseback in not of the proper type for this clock, it does look OK; pendulum visible through lower portion of tablet. Height 28.5 inches
