The brass case is generally clean, but the brass rear door is a replacement for a glass door that is now lost. Minor hairlines on the dial are virtually invisible. We sold this as lot 47 in the April sale, and the rear door came loose causing the buyer to reject it at the counter; we paid a workman $5 to solder the pin on the door, and are confident it will bring more money in this sale. Retains original 2-vial mercury pendulum. A very heavy brass case. Height 12.75 inches
