a large portico that extends forward over the dial, with baluster rows top and bottom, full reeded columns right and left, and with a lenticle in the lower door to see the pendulum. The top right finial is lacking. The 8-day gong strike movement is complete and sound, however the pendulum is a bit short (needs a longer steel portion). All of the porcelain signet numerals are intact and perfect and the hands are original. Unusual and interesting. Height 30 inches
