This clock is an incredible expression of Victorian exuberance. The case is molded with cranes, flowers, bull rushes, water plants and so on, all highlighted in appropriate colors. The central scene , a ruin with ships and mountains is inlaid with MOP. The lower bezel needs a flat glass (curved one looks ok). Case patent W. Stull, Nov 1860. Original hands, good label; a collectors dream. Height 18 inches
