C.1860, New Haven Clock Co., STEEPLE, clock, 8-day, with Turner's patent internal alarm, sounding on a large iron bell that is 6 inches in diameter.

The case is well figured mahogany with only minor losses; the transfer decorated lower glass of a lake scene. Note that this clock has winding arbors just like a regular movement, but you are winding time and alarm, rather than strike; the plates of the normal movement have been extended to accommodate this unusual train. This movement occurs in beehives every now and again, but we have not seen it in a steeple until this one. With an excellent label; original dial with blemish at 9. Height 20 inches
