. The case has been refinished. Rather than the usual black lacquer over gesso frame we usually see, this one is solid walnut. The walnut dial surround has been refinished as well. The original reverse painted glass dial may have been damaged, as this one is a paper photocopy glued behind a clear glass (actually looks fine and is only detectable on the closest of inspection). The hands are original, and the 8-day striking movement is complete and sound. Height 24 inches
