This is an especially good looking clock, with a base of reddish brown, and with a spelter statue of Diana with very nice bronze patina. The claw feet and side lions are ormolu. The incised dial is of the same reddish marble, incised and with gold leaf filling the Roman numerals; gilt hands are original. The original pendulum has an old repair where the shaft snapped in the center at one time. And the clock likes to run. See also lot 106. Pendulum is at podium. Height 28 inches
