This is a good looking clock, with only minor discoloration of the silver finish. Windmill mechanism runs for a few hours on a winding. The small time only movement has a cylinder platform and runs a few minutes and stops; appears dirty and will surely respond to a cleaning. For literature, see Derek Roberts' Mystery, Novelty and Fantasy Clocks, page 265., and also refer to Sotheby's Meraux sale on June 28, 1993, lot number 3; which sold for $3220. The fan for the mill is at the podium. Height 17.5 inches
