The only thing that keeps this from being outstanding is that someone has coated over the original golden oak finish with walnut varnish stain to help the clock match a living room set. The movement, dial, hands and weight are all original and fine. Porcelain dial is perfect with sweep center seconds and original wide brass bezel. Pendulum bob with minor imperfections. 8-day direct drive movement with pinwheel escapement and maintaining power. This clock came out of the smoking room in a small castle in central Michigan. Height 102 inches
