This is an attractive and well made clock with square brass dial and heavy cable movement (an imported movement of exceptional quality). Chimes the quarters on 4 melodious rods, and strikes the hours on an additional tuned set of 4 rods. The glass in the center door is beveled. The mahogany case is in good condition with original finish, and the weights pendulum and hardware retain original patina as well. A good example of an affordable tall clock. We sold the sister to this clock in April 2003. Height 77 inches
