This is a very pretty reproduction of these famous clocks. The mahogany case is in excellent condition with applied mountings and paw feet. The well made 8-day weight movement has a drop-off strike with a porcelain dial, and bears the Cline information on both the rear plate and on the dial. A thorough reference to these clocks may be seen in Palmers A Treasury of American Clocks, pages 52-54, including, a photo copy of his original advertisement for the clock, from Roxbury, dated August 10, 1822. Mr. Cline has won awards in several of Nawcc's crafts contests, and there is always a waiting list for his clocks. Height 33 inches
