This is a large and impressive walnut clock. There are 4 old filled holes visible beneath the cast iron mounting bracket, evidence of a former movement of the same proportions. Aside from these 4 small dots, this is otherwise a good old clock with lots of eye appeal and certain to bring a new owner much satisfaction. The top and finials are original; top looks a bit darker in foto due to uneven flash. Melodious rod strike, old pulleys, hands and a matched set of weights complement this clock; well made 72 beat movement of Viennese origin, unsigned. Height 62 inches
