The wood with brass and MOP inlay is in very nice condition. The case has some minor dings and scratches that come with age. The large movement is stamped "Brocot Brevet", and has been recently serviced and the exposed escapement parts nicely polished. The porcelain dial, hands and beveled door glass are all good. Note there is a curved wooden panel with inlay that covers the long pendulum, which swings in the base. NOTE THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL PLINTH OR BASE, black with brass string inlay, that did not get into the foto; this plinth is original to the clock. Height 18.5 inches
