The original dial has been very nicely restored. The steel ball pendulum is original. These were patented by John Briggs in 1855 and manufactured by Geo. W. Brown and later by E. N. Welch. This is a later model clock with screwed plates. With old dome that is a bit heavy; the painted wooden base has some scratches. Still overall good condition and in running order. Height 8 inches
