with a cannon spewing forth clouds of smoke as it spews out a winged cherub. Most of the original fire gilding is intact and the detail is nicely chased. The movement is adapted from a French crown verge watch of the period (quite a common power source for these miniatures), winding is through the dial. Porcelain dial is perfect and gilt hands are original. With a key made out of an old watch cock. Height 7.5 inches
