Circa 1910 11 inches brass dial with cast spandrels and silvered chapter ring, 8-day, well made brass weight driven movement with maintaining power and adjustable dead beat escapement, the cabinet rare and beautifully executed inlaid wood was made meticulously from the design of the early 18th century, plaque inside door indicates a New York firm imported the clock from England, Elliot is well known for superior clock movements at the turn of 19-20th centuries -- as fine a clock as you could own from the period it was made, suitable for a formal room setting, excellent condition. Height 84 inches
