Circa 1840 14 inches signed hand painted dial has a 21 inches arch, 8-day, weight driven brass belt strike movement, beautifully figured burl mahogany case with broken pediment, shaped door, reeded pilasters, burl panel on plinth and ogee bracket feet, an understated classic design for a formal setting, excellent with normal wear and an old world finish, some professional restoration. Height 90 inches
