The brass case is in very nice condition with what appears to be an original stamped link chain to allow you to hang it or place it on a table. The beveled front glass is perfect and the paper dial is very clean for its age. The movement is in running order and the case back is stamped with the patent date, April 12, 1881. A "novel" timepiece sure to intrigue you. Height 6.25 inches
