To give the case even more of French flair you will the word "Paris" embossed in the pressed brass. The movement, which will need a cleaning, utilizes the Botsford improved patent brass movement with a large horizontal balance wheel and an odd looking escapement, which is often referred to as the American Grasshopper escapement. The minute hand is replaced (a bit too long). The old dome is probably not original, as it is a tad large for the base. Height 11 inches
