The patinated spelter statue is in good condition, finished in gold some time ago. Retains original pendulum, fancy cast holder with glass lenticle. The front plate of the movement has been brushed, and also has a silvered finish, as it is visible in this model. The marble case is in good condition with only minor edge chips, and with original fancy bronze mounts and feet. Runs briskly (with no apparent impulse to the pendulum). The nice feature of this clock is the glass dial and one's ability to watch the interesting action of the Guilmet patent escapement. Height 28 inches
