The only minor item worth mentioning is a chip along the bottom edge of the left beveled glass. The round porcelain time and alarm dials are mounted to an engine turned mask that retains most of its original gilding. The dial is signed: Bigelow & Kennard, Boston, (partly wiped away, as the lettering is not fired in). The rear plate of the movement is signed by the maker, and with serial number 18542. The base with a selector lever for your choice of Quarters, Silent, Hours + Quarters. With original platform/lever intact, a quality item. Height including handle, 8 inches
