C.1917, Elgin National Watch Co., Father Time gimbaled deck watch. This is a 21 jewel, 18 size, wind indicated, lever set deck watch in a brass tub with gimbals and wooden case. The Elgin Father Time movement is marked adjusted 5 positions and has the original porcelain dial; no chips nor cracks, although the crystal has a couple of scratches. It is essentially a one day watch, but shows 40 hours when fully wound. The mahogany box is well made, double hinged, center latch for access to wind and set and top lid for viewing; some scratches on the box and brass hardware tarnished, but overall very good condition.
