The stencils and gold areas on the quarter-columns look to have been redone. Both glasses are replacements. The dial is in very nice clean condition. The movement is correct for the case. Someone has applied to the crest glass a paper slogan: "Union Must be Preserved". This slogan has been seen stenciled on other Hoadley clocks of this case design. You could choose to leave it as is or have it professionally done. Claw feet are new also. Still an interesting clock. Height 27.75 inches
