Sessions Clock Company, hanging clock, "Regulator No. 2 - 1910".

More commonly called a store regulator, this 39" case is either walnut or cherry, it has been varnished or stained over the years and it is difficult to follow the wood grain. I know it isn't oak. The glasses are old, however the "REGULATOR" on the bottom glass is a decal. The pendulum bob, stick, and paper dial are original and in good condition. Movement is single train, 8 day, spring driven, a strong runner and keeps excellent time. One break on the base repaired. This nice old store regulator has not been cleaned or refinished. They are difficult to find in this condition. Ly-Sessions #125.
