Ansonia Clock Co. "Crystal Palace No. 1 Extra", C. 1880.
Oak base and back, 17.5" high, original glass dome with a band on the base. The figures, fancy bezel, movement, all clean as a pin. 8 day movement strikes a nickel bell on the half hours. It has the 2 jar, Davies Patent pendulum, and the clock is running great. No label on the back, figures have some green in the grooves like the green on the bezel. Paper dial is not signed or soiled, would take it to be a replacement. As usual with the Crystal Palaces, you can always find some things that don't look exactly like the pictures in the catalogs. The figures for one example, the gun is resting a little more to the left, the oak base isn't rounded quite like the catalog pictures. All I can say for sure is, it is awfully nice.
