8 day movement has outside count wheel, bell strike, just your typical French movement. The back of the case has a metal and glass door. The heavy carved case features one large head with nuts and pods on his head and on top of the case. It is 18.5" high, 16" wide at the base. 4 round wood feet. One piece porcelain dial, beveled glass, brass sash and bezel. Clock runs and strikes but is about due for a cleaning.
